The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) recorded an estimated 69,208 employee non-fatal injuries as eported by employers in 2018/19, most of which occurred by common yet avoidable incidents. The biggest problems highlighted in the report for workplace injuries were slipping, tripping and falling followed by handling, lifting and carrying.
