Purpose: Exclusive breastfeeding is an integral component of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC). However, the practice of breastfeeding in KMC position is often suboptimal. Hence, a Quality Improvement (QI) initiative study was conducted to improve breastfeeding rates while providing KMC.
