Iran inks new oil field deal with UK-led group

Tehran-Iran signed its latest oil field development deal Wednesday with a UK-led consortium to carry out studies for the redevelopment of two oil fields in the southwest of the country, oil ministry news service Shana reported. The agreement covering the Kerenj and Shadegan fields was signed between UK-based oil field service provider Pergas and the National Iranian South Oil Co. (NISOC).
