Houston-Demand for Bakken crude was higher in May as it filled gaps left by supply lost to wildfires in a major Canadian production region. The supply disruption drove up the price of Bakken Blend compared with the West Texas Intermediate benchmark, market sources said. Bakken Blend started May at WTI CMA minus $5.25/b and it closed Wednesday at minus $3.15/b.
