Iran presses on with Rosneft crude swap talks

Moscow—Iran is continuing negotiations with Russia’s Rosneft on potential crude swaps to receive up to 150,000 b/d in the Caspian region, though the talks have seen slow progress, Iran’s deputy oil minister Amir Zamaninia said Thursday. The talks with Rosneft “have not progressed well, [but] we haven’t dropped the plan,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian-Iranian Energy Forum in Moscow.
