Iran resumes oil export flows to Europe

Iran has resumed its oil exports to Europe and increased the country's crude production by 400,000 b/d as the OPEC producer kick-starts plans to rebuild its oil industry in the wake of sanctions. The shipment of the first consignment of Iranian oil to Europe in five years took place over the weekend, the National Iranian Oil Co. said Sunday on its website quoting its CEO Rokneddin Javadi, who is also Iran's deputy minister for oil affairs.
