Indonesia to reoffer 14 blocks in early 2017

The Indonesian government plans to reoffer 14 conventional oil and gas blocks early next year after failing to attract investors in an unawarded tender in May, a senior official said Wednesday. “We received some bids from investors [in May], but they were not attractive. That is why we plan to reoffer the blocks early next year to boost our future production,” said Susyanto, secretary of the oil and gas directorate general of Indonesia's Energy and Mines Ministry.
