Mobil Australia to add to jet fuel pipeline infrastructure

ExxonMobil's Australian refining arm plans to build a connection between its Yarraville import terminal and the existing jet fuel pipeline which supplies Melbourne airport via the Somerton depot in the southern state of Victoria, the company said Monday. The 2.7 km connection between Yarraville and the existing Somerton pipeline will help Mobil Oil Australia meet increasing demand for jet fuel at Melbourne Airport, the company said.
