Sinopec posts 3.5% output gain in 2013

Hong Kong—State-owned China Petroleum and Chemical Corp., or Sinopec Corp., posted modest gains in its 2013 oil and gas production and pledged to reduce its capital expenditure this year by 4% from the 2013 total. In its annual financial results released late Sunday, the company said it increased oil and gas output last year by 3.5% to 442.82 million barrels of oil equivalent.
