Sinopec starts up new crude storage base in Hainan

Singapore-China’s state-owned Sinopec started operations at its newly built 2.55 million cubic meters (16.04 million barrels), commercial crude storage base in southern Hainan province last Friday, the oil major said on its website Monday. The tank farm received its first crude oil cargo-100,000 mt of Russian ESPO crude-late Friday, a source with Sinopec Hainan said.
