Kogas plans sale of further 5% stake in LNG Canada

Seoul—State-owned Korea Gas Corp. plans to sell an additional 5% stake in LNG Canada by the end of this year, as part of efforts to further improve its finances, a company official told Platts Monday. Kogas currently holds a 15% interest in LNG Canada, after selling a 5% stake in the company to Shell in May. The latter was also part of Kogas’ efforts to reduce its debt.
