Trafigura’s Puma looks to new partner to fuel growth

London—Puma Energy, the oil product storage and retail fuel business of commodity trader Trafigura, is looking to further spread its wings from under its parent by carving out more growth from importing and selling fuels. The downstream company, also looking to become more independent financially, is likely to take on a new strategic shareholder as Trafigura trims its holding, Puma CFO Denis Chazarain told Platts in an interview.
