Iran still biggest crude supplier to Turkey in March

Istanbul—Iran remains easily the biggest supplier of crude oil to Turkey despite pressure from the US to reduce imports to comply with sanctions imposed last year, data released May 16 by Turkey’s energy regulator EPDK show. However, Turkey’s imports from Iran were well down in March as Ankara’s total imports also dropped by 30% compared with the previous month.
