Japan’s Iranian crude imports jump 32% in March

Toyko—Japan imported an average 282,834 b/d of Iranian crude in March, a 32% increase over February and the highest monthly volume since February 2012, when imports from Iran averaged 305,775 b/d, figures released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry show. The March 2013 figure was also higher than the 270,667 b/d imported from Iran in March 2012.
