London—Sweden’s Alliance Oil is on track to meet its double-digit production growth target for 2013, having posted a 15% increase in output for the second quarter. Alliance, which has upstream assets in Russia and Kazakhstan, and also operates a refinery in the Russian Far East, said its new gas fields reached full capacity in the quarter, helping boost output to 61,773 b/d of oil equivalent. “The company is well on track to meet its double digit production growth target this year, supported by the expanding gas operations and the development of joint venture operations,” Alliance said in a statement.
