Canada’s Keyera bullish on condensate

Calgary-Canada’s Keyera Energy will start work later this year on four condensate stor- age tanks in Alberta as demand grows for diluent from the province’s oil sands produc- ers, CEO David Smith said Thursday. The tanks, each with a capacity of 60,000 barrels, will be built at Keyera’s Edmonton terminal at an estimated cost of C$90 million ($73 million) and are part of overall plans to spend C$700 million to C$800 million in 2015 in building new midstream gathering, storage and processing facilities in Alberta, he said on an earnings webcast.
