Tehran-Iran is postponing the introduction of its new upstream contract model to mid-December, the head of the committee in charge of developing the new model said Monday, saying the amount of work involved would make it difficult to meet the previous target of September. Tehran has already postponed the launch of the new contract, with which it hopes to attract major international oil company investment in its underdeveloped hydrocarbon sector, several times.
