Eni plans to keep Livorno refinery running

Italy’s Eni has informed local politicians that it does not plan to close its 84,000 b/d Livorno refinery, just months after the group indicated it was evaluating the future of some of its weaker plants, a Livorno politician said Monday. Eni declined to comment on the refinery’s future.
