Dubai—Saudi Arabia’s crude exports fell by 278,000 b/d to 6.998 million b/d in August, a drop of 3.8% from July, the latest official data released Sunday by the Riyadh-based Joint Organizations Data Initiative showed. The Saudi crude production number for August—10.265 million b/d, down 96,000 b/d from a record 10.361 million b/d in July—was already in the public domain, published by OPEC in its monthly oil market report in September.
