China, India building their strategic stocks: IEA

London-Low oil prices are spurring the build-up of strategic reserves in non-OECD Asia, with both China and India pursuing big stock-building programs, which could in turn provide some support to prices, the International Energy Agency said Friday. A potential increase in global inventories of 220 million barrels this year is likely to represent a further opportunity for countries with stock-building ambitions, the IEA said.
