Buenos Aires—Argentine junior oil producer Medanito has secured loans for 350 million pesos ($37.7 million) as it steps up drilling for oil and natural gas resources, including in the giant Vaca Muerta shale play. The news comes at a good time, as Argentina’s imports of both crude and gasoil rose sharply in July, official data shows.
