Cepu’s peak output target raised by 40,000 b/d

Jakarta-Indonesian upstream regulator SKK Migas has raised the peak production target for the Cepu block by 40,000 b/d to 205,000 b/d and expects operator ExxonMobil and its partner, state-owned Pertamina, to attain this target in the fourth quarter of 2015. The original plan was for Cepu to produce 165,000 b/d at its peak, but this can now be boosted to 205,000 b/d, Rudianto Rimbono, SKK Migas’ head of communication, said Friday.
