Japan’s JX plans 6% cut in March crude throughput

Tokyo-Japan’s largest refiner JX Nip- pon Oil & Energy plans to cut its crude throughput by 6% year on year to 5.31 million kiloliters (1.08 million b/d) for the domestic market in March, and halve product exports from February levels due to planned turnarounds at two refineries, a company official said Thursday JX splits its crude throughput into two cat- egories-throughput for the domestic market and throughput for exports. It does not reveal the volume of crude that they plan to process for exports, but only gives its planned product export volumes.
