Denmark’s DONG buys up more in Herje oil, gas field

London—Danish oil and gas company DONG Energy said July 14 it has increased its stake in the undeveloped Danish North Sea Hejre oil and gas field by 10% to 60% in a 48 million deal with Germany’s Bayerngas. The transaction also includes the acquisition of an 8% stake in the Hejre Extension license, raising DONG’s stake there to 48%.
