Oil flows via Georgia despite Russia conflict

London—Oil exports flowing via Georgian Black Sea ports largely continued as normal August 11 despite the conflict between Russia and Georgia in South Ossetia, trading sources said. There were, however, some conflicting reports of interruptions and comments from senior officials in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan suggesting they were suspending shipments of their oil through Georgia. Georgia exports crude and refined products from terminals at Batumi, Supsa and Kulevi.
