摘要

Istanbul-Anglo-Dutch major Shell has signed an agreement with Turkey's state-owned upstream operator TPAO and state-owned gas importer and pipeline operator Botas to work together on exploration and exploitation of natural gas reserves in Iraq, a spokesman for Turkey's energy ministry told Platts. Stressing that it was a preliminary agreement, the spokesman explained that the final shape of the deal rested on the results of future exploration activities in Iraq and no details had been agreed on volumes of gas to be extracted or what will happen to it.
