Madrid—Galp Energia, Portugal’s largestoil company, said it will step up explorationactivity, de-risk its portfolio and develop high-returning projects going forward as it aims toraise upstream production 15-fold by 2020.In a March 6 regulatory filing, Galp said itwill expand its upstream footprint with a focuson Brazil, Angola and Mozambique spend-ing some Eur1.2 billion a year from 2013 tofocus exploration on regions with which Galpis “already acquainted.”
