Demand growth, Iran supporting prices: IEA

London—Global oil demand growth and geopolitical risks will likely continue to keep oil prices high this year despite growing crude supplies and swelling oil stocks that stand at above-average levels, the International Energy Agency said May 11. In its latest monthly report, the IEA raised its estimate of world oil demand in 2012 and said demand growth looks set to accelerate throughout the year as the world economy recovers.
