Amman—Iraq’s crude oil production in March rose to 2.691 million b/d, a 150,000 b/d increase from 2.541 million b/d in February, with southern fields the main contributors to the substantial monthly rise, oil ministry figures obtained by Platts April 26 showed. However, despite the increase, Iraqi output remains below 2.7 million b/d, a level last seen in July 2011, for the eighth month running.
