Technip to Provide EPC Services to Socar For Azerikimva PC Complex Upgrading

Baku— Technip has been chosen by Socar to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the modernization of Socar's Azerikimya petrochemical complex in Sumgait, Azerbaijan. The contract, for which a value was not disclosed, involves construction of new cracker furnaces for the EP-300 steam cracker, installation of a new refinery dry gas treatment unit, new ethylene and propylene storage, and related utilities and off-sites facilities. Completion is expected during the first half of 20i9.
