YPF's Volumes Stagnate as Production Costs Rise

Argentina's YPF continues to see its production stagnate despite a sizable increase in upstream investment since the government expropriated the company from Spain's Repsol last year. YPF reported first-quarter crude output of 226,300 barrels per day, down slightly from 227,900 b/d in the same period of last year and up just 1,100 b/d from the final three months of 2012.
