Pemex Signs Cooperation Deal With Exxon Mobil

Mexico's state-owned Pemex has signed a memorandum of understanding with US supermajor Exxon Mobil to jointly explore possible areas of collaboration in upstream and downstream projects. The agreement is the latest in a series of such deals that Pemex has signed with international oil companies ahead of Mexico's first bid round following last year's passage of an energy reform ending the company's 76-year monopoly (OD Dec.23'13).
