Irish Diablo Ridge prospect

New 3D seismic data has confirmed the presence of a large ultra-deep pre-Cretaceous prospect called Diablo Ridge in Frontier Exploration Licence 2/14 (FEL 2/14) in the southern Porcupine Basin offshore southwest Ireland, according to Providence Resources. FEL 2/14 has a water depth of around 2,500m (8,203ft) and lies 220km off the west coast of Ireland. The area is operated by Providence with an 80% stake, while Sosina Exploration has 20%.
