Cuba plans GoM deep wells

Cuba plans to drill deepwater exploration wells in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) by early 2017, according to reports. Osvaldo Lopez, head of exploration at stateowned Cuba-Petroleo (Cupet), told Reuters that the company “will initiate a drilling campaign” at the end of 2016 or the start of 2017.
