Total Synthesis of(+)-Apiosporamide:Assignment of Relative and Absolute Configuration

摘要

Apiosporamide(1)was isolated from the fungus Apiospora montagnei Saccardo(Amphisphaeriaceae)in 1994 by Gloer and co-workers.This unique 4-hydroxy-2-pyridinone exhibits potent antifungal activity against the coprophilous fungus Ascobolus furfuraceus and exhibits antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus.Recently,the corresponding ketone YM-215343(2)was identified and shown to demonstrate cytotoxicity against HeLa S3 cell cultures.
