China Oil, Gas Resources Rise

China’s natural gas resources grew by 1.8% while crude oil resources rose by 1.6% last year, the Ministry of Land and Resources (MLR) said Wednesday. Geological natural gas resources climbed by 961.2 Bcm from 2011 -- including 500.8 Bcm of technologically recoverable resources -- to 55.56 Tcm at the end of 2012, according to the MLR (IOD Nov.5’12).
