Sberbank Sells East Siberia Field

After several years of discussions, Russia’s state Sberbank has finally sold the 16,400 b/d Dulisma oil field in East Siberia, which it received in 2009 as partial loan payment from midsized producer Urals Energy. According to a Sberbank financial filing, it sold the asset for 2.8 billion rubles ($91.86 million) in December last year. The buyers were not revealed, but the Russian media early reported them as Belarus businessmen Yuri and Alexei Khotin. The purchase was earlier approved by Russian antimonopoly services.
