Gazprom, CNPC Advance Gas Pipe Plan

Russia's state-run gas giant Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) plan to sign by the end of this year an agreement on design and construction of a cross-border gas pipeline section, which would connect the 61 Bcm/yr Power of Siberia pipeline in Russia with the Chinese line running from Heihe in the province of Heilongjiang.
