Gazprom, Total Confirm Partnership

Further confirming Total's commitment to Russia, the French major's head, Patrick Pouyanne, met on Thursday with Alexei Miller, the head of Russia's state-controlled gas giant Gazprom, to discuss the two firms' joint projects in other countries. During his time in Russia, Pouyanne is also expected to visit the 16.5 million ton/yr Yamal LNG project, where the French major holds 20% and partners Russia's top independent gas producer Novatek (60%) and China National Petroleum Corp. (20%).
