Gazprom, Lithuania at Odds

Lithuania is again threatening to take Russia's Gazprom to international arbitration amid an ongoing spat between the two parties over gas prices. Lithuania's energy minister, Arvydas Sekmokas, said late last week that Gazprom is supplying gas to the Baltic state at "an unfair price," thereby breaching a supply contract inked in 2004. In addition, he said the gas giant was putting "political pressure" on his country.
