Harvest Adds to Gabon Find

US independent Harvest Natural Resources and its partner in Gabon, Oslo-listed Panoro Energy, have discovered oil in a second, deeper section of the offshore Dussafu Ruche Marin presalt well, following an earlier strike announced last month (IOD Jun.14'11). The original DRM-1 discovery well, within the 2,775 sq km Dussafu Marin Block, found oil in the Gamba reservoir. The well was then deepened to 3,463 meters in the Middle and Lower Dentale reservoirs and encountered 10 meters of oil pay in the Middle Dentale section.
