Bashneft Holds Trebs Hearings

Russia's Bashneft said on Thursday it has held public hearings on the possible environmental impact of developing its giant Trebs and Titov oil fields in the Nenets region. The hearings, in Naryan-Mar, the Nenets capital, were attended by local authorities and private organizations as well as inhabitants of the area, Bashneft said. The 300,000 b/d producer made its environmental documents available to participants, and said it would amend them depending on the response.
