The head of China's National Energy Ad- ministration, Zhang Guobao, is forecasting China's oil output at 190 million tons (3.81 million b/d) this year, the official Xinhua news agency says. That would represent a slight fall from 2010, with International Oil Daily calculations suggesting China's well- head production averaged 4.04 million b/d over the first 11 months of the year. Final of- ficial data for 2010 have yet to be released. Zhang forecast gas production at more than 100 Bcm (9.67 Bcf/d) in 2011.
