Gas Pipeline Upgrade Planned

Belgian gas grid operator Fluxys and its larger French counterpart, GRTgaz, are inviting gas shippers to submit binding requests for firm long-term transmission capacity from France into Belgium through a new interconnection between their networks. Such a link would boost possibilities for moving gas between the French Peg Nord and Belgian Zeebrugge trading hubs. The requests must be submitted by the end of February and regulators expect the result to be announced on Mar. 31.
