Novatek Claims Vast Arctic LNG Potential: Europe/FSU

The Yamal and Gydan peninsulas in the West Siberian Arctic have the resources to produce more than 70 million metric tons/yr of LNG, according to Leonid Mikhelson, CEO of top Russian independent producer Novatek, which has ambitious liquefaction projects in the region.
