Russia Crude Output Steady, But Gas Drops on Weather, Ukraine

Russian crude production continued to demonstrate stable year-over-year growth of around 1% in March, while gas output dropped by 6% as a result of an abnormally warm weather last month. Russian crude oil and gas condensate production stood at 44.65 million metric tons (10.56 million barrels per day) in March. The 1% year-over-year increase is mainly attributed to higher output from private Bashneft and Lukoil and state-controlled Gazprom Neft, as well as higher production from the Exxon Mobil-led Sakhalin-1 production sharing agreement (PSA).
