Malaysia Fuels Roc Output Hike

Australian minnow Roc Oil saw its output jump 46% year-on-year to 9,487 boe/d in the six months to June 2014, thanks mainly to its newly acquired Malaysian offshore acreage where it is expected to develop enhanced oil recovery, and its assets in the Beibu Gulf. Roc's Balai Cluster risk service contract, also offshore Malaysia, is producing about 2,000 b/ d, Roc CEO Alan Linn said, at the low end of forecasts for 2,000-3,000 b/d earlier this year (IOD Mar.26'14).
