RCF planning to begin work on Thai urea capacity expansion next fiscal

Mumbai-based Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers (RCF) is planning to begin work on setting up new urea capacity at its Thai plant near Mumbai in the next financial year. "We are hoping to start the Thai III project in the next financial year and it is estimated that around Rs. 4,500-crore would be invested in the project," Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. R.G. Rajan informed. He added the project is likely to be completed in two years. The PSU has already got pre-Public Investment Board (PIB) clearance for the project.
