Emerson has entered into a long-term service contract with Qatargas to address its growing LNG infrastructure.Under a five-year agreement,Emerson will provide asset management services,advanced skills train-ing,and a comprehensive parts management program.Fred Smeenk,COO of operations at Qatargas,said."We originally selected Emerson as our main instrumentation and controls contractor and supplier because the company is an automation leader that emphasizes project and operations needs,including continuous improvement and long-term operational support."
