PVC Supply Increases vs.Demand Remained Stable

There were no significant developments in the PVC (polyvinyl chloride) market in 2005.According to the usual rule,the second quarter each year is the season when the demand for PVC increases,and therefore several peaks of consumption appear at the beginning of the year:consumption made before the Chinese New Year in order to build up the inventory for production after the holiday,the supplementary purchases made for the operating rate increase when the downstream processing enterprises recovering production after the long holiday,and the consumption after the demand increase during the season of peak consumption.
